Request for Applications (RFA) from local non-governmental organizations to conduct (1) Lymphatic Filariasis Transmission Assessment Survey (TAS I) in 2 districts and (2) Lymphatic Filariasis Follow up Transmission Assessment surveys (Re-Pre-TAS) in 4 districts.

Act to End Neglected Tropical Diseases | East is a five-year program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) that supports national governments to reach their control and elimination goals for neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) through proven, cost-effective public health interventions. The Act to End NTDs | East program provides critical support to countries in their journey to self-reliance, helping them to create sustainable NTD programming within robust and resilient health systems.

Act to End NTDs |East (2018-2023) is led by RTI International, with a consortium of partners including The Carter Center, Fred Hollows Foundation, IMA World Health, Light for the World, Results for Development, Save the Children, Sightsavers, and WI-HER. RTI is seeking a qualified non-governmental organization to implement disease monitoring surveys in selected districts of Nepal. RTI intends to award two (2) fixed amount awards (FAAs): one for Transmission Assessment Survey (TAS I) and another for follow up Transmission Assessment Surveys (Re-Pre-TAS). Qualification Criteria: Interested organizations should be legally registered in Nepal and have legal status to conduct activities throughout the country. Experience in designing and conducting field research activities and surveys, and analyzing results is required. Experience working on USAID-funded projects is preferred.
