Quotation for the procurement of Furniture Items

Rural Education and Environment Development Centre (REED) –Nepal was established in 2000 as an Non-Government Organization registered in District Administration Office Kathmandu and affiliated with Social Welfare Council (SWC). REED Nepal was initiated by the first Everest Climbers who witnessed that children in the Himalayan region has been backward to the reach of basic level of education and felt the need to assist Nepal Government’s attempts for the improvement of overall standard of School Education in the Himalayan regions. REED’s activities focuses on imparting Quality education through Teachers’ training, child protection, Environment and climate change, Gender and social inclusion, and learning & life skills. Since then REED Nepal has been conducting its various educational programs to enhance the quality teaching and learning environment for both teachers and students.

REED Nepal is implementing ‘Learning Champion Despite Pandemic: Strong Girls II' at Rambha Rural Municipality of Palpa district & Kanchan Rural Municipality of Rupandhehi District of Nepal.

REED Nepal would like to request for a quotation for the following “Furniture  Items”.

Terms & Conditions

1. General

1. Quoted prices for the above-mentioned items shall be inclusive of all govt. taxes and duties as per prevailing Tax Laws of Govt. of Nepal.
2. Quoted prices must be according to the requirements mentioned in the specification.
3. REED Nepal team will visit the selected vendor to ensure and verify the items quality and stock before making agreement.
4. After verification of quality and stock, an agreement will be made and then only Purchase Order shall be issued.
5. Payments will be made either directly through online bank transfer or by issuance of account payee cheque after completion of material delivery, physical verification, and submission of the invoice along with Good Receipt Note (GRN)to REED Nepal.
6. Selected vendors need to deliver furniture items to the location mentioned by REED Nepal. So, the quoted rate must be inclusive transportation cost, un/loading charges. 
7. All Goods should be based on the technical Specification as mentioned in tender document.
8. There may be slight variation in the total quantity.
9. REED Nepal reserves the right to reject any or all quotations without assigning any reason thereof.

2. Bid Submission

Interested parties are requested to submit their sealed proposal/ quotes clearly mentioning "Sealed Quotation of Furniture items- Learning Champion Project" to the any one of the following addresses in hard copy: 

• Learning Champion Project -Field Office, Butwal-03, Chidiyakhola, Rupandehi, Contact no: 071-544850, OR, 
• REED Nepal, Jwagal Lalitpur: 01-5560108. 

Only the sealed quotations received in any of two offices mentioned above within 5:00 PM of 17th February 2023 shall be considered by REED Nepal.

Please submit the following documents along with duly filled and signed Quotation Request Firm (QRF) along with below listed legal documents.

• Company Registration Certificate
• VAT registration Certificate
• Latest tax clearance Certificate
• Contact Person Full Name & Phone Number 

3. Validity of Bid

Quote given shall remain unchanged for 3 month.
