REQUEST FOR SUBMISSION OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)

For Vocational and agricultural training to promote employment and entrepreneurship in southwestern Ramechhap/22-08-CD-NEP

The Community Development Society (CDS), was established in 2058 BS (2001 AD) as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). It was established by active, committed and energetic youths in the field of community development and empowerment with the existing social and economic inequalities in the society with the aim of "self-reliant, healthy and equitable society". CDS has been working with the focus on youth employment & entrepreneurship promotion, Child protection and child rights, Health and sanitation, community infrastructure, and environmental sustainability approach. CDS currently calls for and Expression of Interest (EOI) from the eligible audit firms/consultants to provide services as mentioned below.

1. The Procurement of Consultancy Service for Vocational and agricultural training to promote employment and entrepreneurship in southwestern Ramechhap/22-08-CD-NEP for the period January 2025 to December 2025, and the compiled audit report for the period September 2022 to December 2025, including the audited report for September 2022 to December 2024.

Interested firm should submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) in their own format that shall include:

• A Covering letter (with expression of interest and declaration to submit detailed proposal) The Profile and applicable organizational certificates
• An Area coverage with details breakdown and the concept note on how for this proposal
• The Details of similar experience and
• A Proposed team composition, designation and CVs of key team members
• The Documents to meet our desired minimum qualification

2. Interested eligible consultants/firm may obtain further information at the address Community Development Society (CDS), Central Office, Finance Department, Manthali, Ramechhap,Nepal during office hours on or before December 21, 2025.

3. Consultants may associate with other consultants to enhance their qualifications.

4. Expression of interest shall be delivered manually to the Community Development Society (CDS), Central Office, Finance Department or via email to cdsprocurementcommittee@gmail.com; during office hours on or before 21st December 2025.

5. In case the last date of obtaining and submission of the EOI documents happens to be a holiday, the next working day will be deemed as the due date but the time will be the same as stipulated.

6. Required Experience & Qualification criterion for audit are as follows:

• The audit firm or company should have in depth knowledge of the working of the Non-profit Organization in Nepal.
• The audit firm or company should have proven experience of conducting audit for the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) projects in Nepal.
• The auditor has to be an officially registered and approved chartered accountant
• The auditor shall not have any other current association with the project holder (e.g. auditing other projects of the organization)
• The auditor shall draw up his statement according to the format provided by Donor/CDS.
• The audit firm or company should have permanent operational office in Nepal and should be available to respond to post audit queries, guidance, support and verification post audit.

7. The Community Development Society reserves all the right to accept or reject one or all EOI proposals without assigning any reason whatsoever with its sole discretion.
