Action Nepal partnership with OXFAM is seeking dynamic energetic and result oriented professionals for the following positions to intervene WaSH, SHELTER, EFSVL,DRR and GENDER Project in 2 VDCs (Satyadevi and Tripureswor) of Dhading district.

Educational Qualification:  Bachelor in Civil Engineering 

Report To: Project coordinator

PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION/ KEY RESPONSIBILITY 

• Project analysis, planning, Detail survey and design, drawing and cost estimation of institutional latrines, urinals, hand WaSHing station, waste disposal pit and overall WaSH friendly structural design. 
• Monitoring and supervision of all WaSH structure with maintaining quality control as per standard design drawing.
• Led to smooth implementation of WaSH program in the community by mobilizing PHE Assistant, community technician and social mobilizer by achieving target maintaining quality within time frame 
• Prepare and compile weekly, monthly action plan of WASH activities and its implementation
• Strengthen the capacity of PHE Assistant, Community Technician, School Management Committee, Water User committee, disaster preventive and sustainability of the construction.
• Ensure to PHE Assistant for  conducting social audit as per installment and final social audit in the community (WUCs, SMC)
• Responsible to maintain quality of each WaSH structure and ensure to meet project time frame.
• Coordinate with district level government authorities, I/NGOs and other stakeholders for smooth and efficient execution of WaSH program.
• Prepare project budget planning in each WaSH activities
• Prepare monthly technical progress report and project completion report.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:  

Professional skills and qualification needed in the position 

• Bachelor  Degree in Civil Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience 
• Experience of working in Humanitarian response programme will be preferable
• Good knowledge in documentation, report writing and presentation
• Good Knowledge of WSS scheme design, cost estimation and implementation idea of the supervision of the construction.
• Tactfulness and excellent interpersonal skills 
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD , Microsoft Office package and other relevant designing software.
• Good communication skills both in English and Nepali
• Ability and willingness to work in team and to work under pressure and in remote/difficult circumstances
