TPO Alliance is an organization established under Nepal Company Act 2063, was registered on 16th Feb, 2015 at Office of Company Registrar (OCR No:132411/071/072) and has Tax Payer Identification Number (TPIN: 602474218). It is a service oriented organization located in Baluwatar, Kathmandu. It is focused on the consultancies and assignments that promote mental health and psychosocial wellbeing through operationalizing clinical services, developing programs, conducting researches and organizing various trainings and workshops.

Currently, TPO Alliance in collaboration with TPO Nepal and George Washington University, is implementing Ensuring Quality in Psychological Support (EQUIP) project which aims to test the difference in change in common factors competency between EQUIP-based Problem Management Plus (PM+) trainees and standard PM+ trainees, using the Enhancing Assessment of Common Therapeutic Factors (ENACT) scale.

In this regard, TPO Alliance is seeking competent, committed and result oriented Psychosocial Trainers/Supervisors for a short duration of time.

Location:  Kathmandu

Duration: 3 Months

Starting date: 1 July, 2021

Psychosocial Trainers/Supervisors will be responsible for following duties but not limited to:

  • Take a lead role in training and supervision of School Nurses (SNs), Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs), Teachers and Community Volunteers for implementation of the EQUIP project

  • Facilitate/ Support for contextualization of the EQUIP training platform and evaluation measures

  • Practice PM+ with two groups before conducting the actual training

  • Conduct PM+ trainings to the target groups (SNs, FCHVs, Teachers and Community Volunteers) virtually and in-person

  • Provide regular supervision to the trained SNs, FCHVs, Teachers, and Community Volunteers and ensure quality of each implemented activities

  • Work closely with SNs, FCHVs, Teachers and Community Volunteers and assure the clinical intervention is being implemented as described in the protocol

  • Work in close coordination with research team for evaluation of the training and intervention delivery

  • Prepare training and supervision reports and submits to the immediate supervisor.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor degree in Psychology/Post Graduate in psychology with six-month of psychosocial counseling training. Preference will be given to those with Master’s degree in counseling psychology/Clinical Psychology,

  • Experience in psychosocial training and counseling for at least 3 years

  • Training on Behavior Activation or Cognitive Behavior Therapy techniques (preferred)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Nepali

  • Skills and knowledge on Clinical Supervision

  • Experience in conducting training virtually

  • Experience in using mobile technologies and web-based training platforms
