Project: Scale-up of Multiple Micronutrient Supplementation (MMS)

Position: Provincial Liaison Officer (MMS Project)

Location: Dang, Lumbini Province

Duration: 8 Months

Position Overview

The Provincial Liaison Officer will support the scale-up of the MMS project in Lumbini Province. This includes:

  • Coordinating and supporting program implementation 
  • Engaging with government stakeholders and partners 
  • Supporting orientation for health workers and FCHVs 
  • Conducting field monitoring and providing implementation support 
  • Documenting operational learnings and field experiences 

The role will ensure strong collaboration with government while contributing to program learning and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, nursing, nutrition or a related field 
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in public health/nutrition programs in nutrition/health sectors, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working with government health systems at provincial and local levels.
  • Proven experience in program implementation, coordination, and training facilitation.
  • Prior experience in maternal nutrition programs is an advantage. 
  • Experience working in a district-based position is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, adaptability, flexibility, initiative, and motivation to work closely with communities and government stakeholders
