International Nepal Fellowship (Nepal) is a Non-Government Organization established in 1952 and serves the poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life to its fullness through health and development services. INF Nepal is currently working in health and community development services in the Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces of Nepal.

For the following position, INF Nepal Green Pastures Hospital is seeking competent, skilled, service oriented, and devoted Nepali citizens who shares our vision, mission, and values.

Position: Prosthesis & Orthotics Technologist            

Required Number: 1            

Location: Green Pastures Hospital, Pokhara

Purpose of the Job:

The job holder is responsible for independently assessing patients to identify their need for prosthetic and orthotic devices, as well as fabricating and fitting custom-made appliances. The role includes adjusting wheelchair postural seating to ensure optimal comfort and functionality. Additionally, the job holder will educate patients on the proper use and maintenance of assistive devices, including guidance on self-care, hygiene, and follow-up procedures.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's in Prosthetic & Orthotics (or Equivalent from a recognized institute) and relevant Council registration.
  • Or any Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) qualification with at least five years of equivalent experience from a recognized institute.
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an institute-based setting.
  • Experience with 3D printing technology (scanning, designing, finishing). 
  • Able to maintain financial entry and financial records.
  • Must be honest and demonstrate integrity.
  • Good computer skills with Microsoft Word and Excel. 
  • Understanding of, and agreement with the values which are important to INF Nepal.
