SOSEC Nepal was established in 1997 as a non-profit service provider for the greater improvement of the socio-economic and cultural conditions of the backward and marginalized people living in rural communities of Nepal. The organization has been implementing various projects/programs with the cooperation and support of various agencies to improve the social, economic, and cultural status of the marginalized communities living in the rural areas of Karnali and various districts of Far West and Lumbini provinces. The organization conducts its activities based on the following Thematic Areas: (A) Advocacy Against Inequality (social Justice), (B) Resilient Livelihoods, (C) Safe and Save Life, (D) WASH and Nutrition, (E) Life skill & Inclusive Education, and (F) Children Prosperity. SOSEC Nepal adheres to a policy of protecting the security of women and children and has zero tolerance for corruption.

SOSEC Nepal, in partnership with AWO International, has been implementing the Migration Centered Integrated Livelihood and Economic Sustainability (MILES) Project in Bhairabi Rural Municipality, Dailekh, since January 1, 2026.  According to the decision of the Procurement Committee of this organization dated 6th January, as consultancy services are needed for conducting this baseline survey of the project, this notice has been published to invite interested parties to submit the required technical and financial proposals in accordance with the Terms of Reference (TOR) prepared by the project.

Interested firm/ Individual consultants are requested to submit their duly completed technical and financial proposal documents as per the TOR available from the organization, within seven (7) days, from 11 January to 17 January 2026.

Required Documents to Be Submitted with the Proposal

• Copy of firm registration and renewal certificate
• Copy of Permanent Account Number (PAN) certificate
• Copy of tax clearance certificate
• Profile/CVs of firm/consultants
• Technical and financial proposal must be prepared in accordance with the TOR provided by the organization

Conditions to Be Followed While Submitting the Proposal

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in conducting and leading baseline and end-line studies
• Experience working with reputed organizations (INGOs, NGOs, UN agencies, or other humanitarian organizations)
• Experience in developing, testing, and providing training on questionnaires.
• Expertise in safer migration, livelihood, and economic development.
• Experience working in value chain and entrepreneurship development.
• Strong knowledge and experience in research methodology and statistical analysis.
• Other conditions will be as per the procurement regulations of the organization.

Deadline: By 5:00 PM on 17th January, 2026 

Opening Date and Time: 11:00 AM on 18th January, 2026 

The organization reserves the right to accept or reject the proposal in full or partially.
