Project Officer (program and monitoring)

Prerana, a social development NGO, working in the area of women’s rights, physical rehabilitation, inclusive education and social mobilization is looking for an experienced and qualified Project Officer (program and monitoring), based in Sarlahi for ENGAGE project running in partnership with VSO, Nepal.

Key responsibilities: Project Officer will be responsible for planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of project activities, managing field team; maintain better coordination between schools, district and municipal authorities and other stakeholders; maintain beneficiary database and report progress, periodically.

Qualification and basic requirements:  He/she should have a proactive, innovative, original and enthusiastic handling of her/his duties, with a result-oriented approach, and should have Bachelor Degree in social science or relevant subject with at least 2 years proven experience in project implementation and knowledge on inclusive education and disability. Project Officer needs to ensure child protection and safeguards including gender based violence while working with marginalized girls, girls with disabilities, vulnerable groups, therefore, experience with, and understanding of safeguards while working with children and vulnerable groups is required.
