Position: Project Officer

FAITH is a non-profit organization dedicated to advocate for the health and human rights of female sex workers, Women living with HIV and Female who use drugs. We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a Project Officer who is proficient in advocacy for supporting and advancing efforts to prevent and respond to gender-based violence (GBV), promoting gender equality, and creating a safe and inclusive policy environment targeting female sex workers.

Duration: 20 months

Key Responsibilities:

• Advocate for comprehensive Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) policies and GBV prevention measures, focusing on the rights of female sex workers.
• Organize workshops and consultations with policymakers to raise awareness about the unique challenges faced by FSWs.
• Collaborate with the police to promote understanding and respect for the human rights of FSWs.
• Establish regular communication channels between the program and police for effective collaboration.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of program activities, including progress reports and lessons learned.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in public health, social work, gender studies or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience coordinating with government agencies.
• Strong knowledge of GBV issues, international standards, and best practices.
• Proven experience in coordinating with policymakers and engaging diverse stakeholders.
• Strong team and independent work skills, with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Excellent communication and advocacy skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Preference given to candidates with experience in sex worker rights advocacy and marginalized populations.
