International Nepal Fellowship (Nepal) is a Non-Government Organization established in 1952 and serves the poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life to its fullness through health and development services. INF Nepal is currently working in health and community development services in the Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces of Nepal.

Position: Project Facilitator

Location: Bardiya and Kailali

Purpose of the Job:

The job holder is responsible to support the project officers in the process of formation and empowering of Municipality Level Disability Coordination Committees, SHGs and DPOs for the rights and inclusion of persons with disabilities and people affected by leprosy. In addition, S/he will collaborate, develop and deliver training and orientations to SHG members, health workers, female community health volunteers, community groups, and schools, and ensure the smooth running of Project activities.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • Proficiency Certificate Level in Social Science or other related discipline or Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.
  • One year of experience working in INGO or NGO setting.
  • Experience of working in a clinical setting is desirable.
  • Facilitation and training skills.
  • Facilitation skill in related field i.e, disability and leprosy is added advantage.
  • Good planning, reporting and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in verbal and written Nepali, Abadhi language.
  • Good interpersonal skills, considerate and respectful to team and community members.
  • Understanding of, and agreement with, the values which are important to INF Nepal.
