Position Title: Project Coordinator (Part-time)

Background and Project Summary

Pravasi Nepali Coordination Committee (PNCC) is a non-profit, non-political organization established in 2009 by returnee migrant workers. PNCC is dedicated to protecting and promoting the rights and well-being of Nepali migrant workers and their families. PNCC operates nationally and internationally with a wide network and in collaboration with government bodies, community organizations, and international agencies.

Project Summary 

ENSURE Nepal is a four-year project funded by the U.S. Department of State (TIP Office) and led by La Isla Network (LIN), in partnership with Johns Hopkins University (JHU) and Bournemouth University (BU). The project is implemented in Nepal by three partner organizations: PNCC, POURAKHI Nepal, and NeDS

Position Summary

The position staff member is responsible for managing project, implement project activities, coordinate with stakeholders, support IEC material development, assist with monitoring and evaluation, represent PNCC in advocacy and migrant rights initiatives, and participate in project-related meetings, seminars, and workshops online and physical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead role on project activities planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting as per the donor guidelines and timelines
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate and collaborate with project stakeholders to execute planned project activities 
  • Content Development and conducting Training: Assist in creating Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials and engage in planning and conducting of the training prescribe in the project partnership agreement with the donor 
  • Cooperate and Coordinate: Support to Ensure Nepal project partners, country team, and international project team for tracking, assessments, and learning processes for conducting research
  • Meeting and Event participation: Attend relevant project meetings via online and physical, seminars, and workshops organize by CoE partners especially bi-weekly meetings among the CoE organization, 
  • Representation: Represent the organization in meetings and support policy initiatives related to migrant rights and labor migration whenever required. 

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Master’s degree in social sciences, Development Studies, Public Administration, Migration Studies, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in project management and implementation preferably in migration, human rights, or international development sector.
  • Practical experience in project cycle management 
  • Strong knowledge of labor migration issues, migration services, and Nepal’s foreign employment policies.
  • Competency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Nepali.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and digital communication tools.
  • Knowledge of M&E frameworks is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage tasks in a dynamic environment.
