The Projects Coordinator has been assigned for the implementation of the projects/programs related to the Emergency Care Service Center(ECSC) ensuring quality in each component of holistic service provision (rescue, service, reintegration, follow-up) for persons with mental health issues. Following are the specific duties and responsibilities for this position.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

ECSC Operational development and team management:

  • Explore potential areas of funding at the national (including government funding) and international agencies in collaboration with other units of the organization and develop documents accordingly.
  • Contribute to develop sustainable plan of existing project with Executive Director and program team.
  • Ensure that the project team is fully compliant with the operational guidelines in providing rescue, inhouse support, reintegration, and follow-up with the beneficiaries.
  • Assess and ensure overall functioning of the emergency care service center and coordinate with the house in-charge for the proper and effective management of the services in the house along with support required.
  • Carry out staff meetings on a regular basis regarding quality of service, any concerns in operation, finance control and staff motivation.

Rescue:

  • Develop and implement protocols for efficient rescue procedures.
  • Oversee and coordinate emergency response and rescue operations and ensure that the rescue team is fully compliant with the rescue guidelines.
  • Collaborate with external agencies as necessary to ensure timely and effective rescue efforts.
  • Ensure that the rescue team is fully equipped with necessary skills on rescue operations.

In-House Service:

  • Ensure that the standardized care protocols are followed to ensure that quality mental health services are provided at ECSC.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among nursing staffs, outreach workers, psychologists, pharmacist, caregivers, and other personnel who are directly involved with the beneficiaries at the ECSC.
  • Ensure that all the data of beneficiaries are recorded and kept confidentially.

Post Reintegration:

  • Establish partnerships with the local government, CBOs, NGOs, and community organizations to provide linkages with support, including MH service, vocational training, livelihood and community reintegration programs.
  • Ensure mechanisms to promote community awareness and understanding to reduce stigma and discrimination, facilitating successful reintegration of beneficiaries into society.
  • Develop and implement a system for follow-up to track the progress of beneficiary’s postreintegration and make necessary adjustments to rehabilitation plans.

Project Management

  • Review the project document, log frame and theory of change and ensure effective implementation of project activities and delivery of results as mentioned in the project document.
  • Develop detailed implementation plan and periodic implementation plan (monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual) in coordination with the project team, supervisor and MEAL unit.
  • Provide timely updates about project progress to the supervisor and funding partner.
  • Work closely with the Admin and Finance Unit to ensure program and financial aspects of project planning and budgeting and the project delivers value for money and cost effectiveness aligning with the anti-corruption policy and admin/finance policy of the organization.
  • Prepare project reports and submit to partners on a regular basis.
  • Maintain systematic documentation of the beneficiaries of the project.
  • Carry out periodic review, tracking, and reporting of results mentioned in project documents.

Safety & Security

  • Ensure safety & security during project implementation of the project staffs.
  • Analyze/identify potential risks and handle any issues that arise.

Safeguarding

  • Ensure all children and adults reached by the project are safeguarded to greatest extent possible.
  • Ensure compliance with all aspects of the organizational Safeguarding and Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, abuse and harassment policies and associated standards and procedures.

Any other tasks as assigned by the organization.

  • No of Vacancy: 1
  • Reports to: Senior Program Manager
  • Education Level: Masters Degree or equivalent in human rights, international relations, law, disability, social work or any other related field.
  • Experience required: A minimum of 7 years of experience in carrying out Project Management, planning implementation.
  • Job Location: Central office.
  • Remuneration and Benefit: Negotiable .
