Position: Project Coordinator – Gender and Diversity (Female Only)
Location: TdH Germany Nepal Office, Inar Pulchowk, Lalitpur
Terre des hommes Germany is an international children’s rights organization committed to promoting child rights and protection worldwide. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Coordinator – Gender and Diversity to lead multi-country initiatives with a strong focus on gender equality and social inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage gender and diversity-related multi-country projects and partnerships.
- Ensure quality, compliance, and efficiency in program implementation and reporting.
- Oversee budget planning, monitoring, and financial compliance.
- Mainstream gender and diversity, child rights, and child protection across all project activities.
- Conduct regular travel to project countries for on-site visits, monitoring, and financial review.
- Consolidate annual plans and reports from project partners, ensuring donor compliance.
- Coordinate PMEL (Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning) processes.
- Review and coordinate implementation of studies and capacity-building activities for partner organizations within the project framework in coordination with the knowledge partner.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Development Studies, Sociology, Political Science, Governance, or related fields with a feminist perspective.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing multi-country development projects with strong compliance knowledge.
- Expertise in gender and diversity, GEDSI project cycle management, child rights, and child protection.
- Ability to integrate gender and diversity analysis into project design and implementation.
- Strong coordination, reporting, and financial oversight skills.
- Excellent proposal and report writing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
- Fluency in English; regional language and intercultural skills are an asset.
- Willingness to travel extensively across four countries.
- Proven experience in PMEL processes and adherence to high ethical standards.
- Commitment to TDH’s Safeguarding Protocol and Code of Conduct.
