SUMMARY OF SAMA-SAMA PROJECT IN NEPAL
SAMA-SAMA: Strengthening Civil Society for Inclusive Democracy and Human Rights is a 3-year regional initiative funded by GAC that aims to increase civic engagement opportunities for women and marginalized groups (WMGs) (1) to defend human rights and democratic participation, and (2) improve government-citizen collaboration, promoting gender-transformative and inclusive public services, democratic participation, and the representation of WMGs.
CECI Nepal, SAMA SAMA Projectis recruiting for following Consultancy services;
1. Communication Consultant:
The consultant will close collaboration with CECI Nepal, the SAMA-SAMA Project team, and partners in Nepal. Under a retainer contract , she/he shall provide a range of branding and communications services, including leading the design of communication efforts and ensuring that the project’s achievements, messages, and advocacy campaigns reach the appropriate audience in a clear, engaging manner.
Qualifications and Experince: 7-10 years of professional experience in an equivalent position, high level of proficiency in Nepali and English, both oral and written, a bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related field, along with strong writing, speaking, and editing skills, ability to develop clear messaging, manage media relations, and handle both internal and external communication strategies, experience in communications, content creation preferred, along with familiarity with digital platforms and social media, support the design and implementation of Behaviour Change Communication (BCC) strategies and materials to promote social norms, attitudes, and behaviors aligned with the project objectives. strong interpersonal skills, creativity, and the ability to work under pressure.
