It works with a mission to enable Karnali people to claim and exercise their rights for poverty reduction and improved livelihoods through their organization, research, policy advocacy and judicious resources mobilization. It has been implementing various project/programs with the funding support of different partner organizations.

KIRDARC is an NGO dedicated to uphold the rights of marginalized and excluded communities through its interventions on Human Rights, Democracy and Good Governance with especial focus on building capacities of right holders, duty bearers and civil society contributing to inclusive growth and fair development. It works with a vision of ‘a just and prosperous society’.

KIRDARC Nepal is implementing the “Building Resilient Communities in Himalayan Region of Karnali Province” Program in Sarkegadh Rural Municipality Humla in partnership with Mission East. Therefore, KIRDARC Nepal is expecting the job applications from suitable qualified, dynamic and motivated candidates to fulfill the following vacant positons.

Position Description: Project Coordinator, 1 Person (Based in Sarkegadh RM, Humla)

  • Academic Qualification and Experience: Master’s Degree in Agriculture Science/Environmental Science or relevant discipline along with at least four years of working experience in leading projects implementation in the field in specially projects related to livelihood, climate change adaptation, socio-economic empowerment, advocacy of human rights and inclusion, etc.
  • Key Skills and Knowledge required: - Have a sound skill on leadership and coordination with beneficiaries, stakeholders and local governments. Knowledge on government policies and plans on livelihood, climate change adaptation, socio-economic empowerment, advocacy of human rights and inclusion, etc. to integrate in project interventions. Project planning and implementation skills. Reporting (preparation and sharing) skills in both Nepali and English. Sound knowledge on monitoring tools and methods.
