Dedicated to children's education, health and rights, ASN works in various developmental themes; Health and nutrition, education, child protection, natural resource management, livelihood, and humanitarian response.

As leading NGO, Aasaman Nepal has been engaged in developing and implementing programs aimed to protection, promotion and fulfillment of child rights in Nepal. Since its inception in 1999, ASN has continuously been active in the development of children in terms of education, child rights, health and nutrition and livelihood. 

Aasaman Nepal in partnership with BMZ/WHH (Welthungerhilfe (WHH)) is implementing project titled Building livelihood resilience and nutrition security in the Kamala River Basin in Siraha District. And currently we are looking for the experienced and dynamic team players for the stint of project coordinator. 

1.Position: Project Coordinator- 1Nos

Duty Station: Siraha

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Represent Aasaman-Nepal at district level and conduct in a manner that is consistent with the values of the Aasaman Nepal
  • Mobilizing Social Mobilizer and Volunteers responsible for overall program, admin and finance management of the district.
  • Make conceptual clarity and increase common understanding among stakeholders at all level on principles of Aasaman-Nepal. 
  • Ensure effective and functional coordination and communication between central and district office of Aasaman, among GOs and NGOs at district level for effective and quality program.
  • Assist to the PM in program planning and monitoring 
  • Support to prepare monthly and quarterly program as well as financial reports.
  • Interlink ASN's various program to each other.
  • Representation of ASN in different forums and budget monitoring
  • Staff management and capacity development
  • Overall management and monitoring of program
  • Monthly, quarterly program reporting
  • Coordination, communication and linkage with district line agencies
  • Program monitoring, supervision and process documentation
  • Conduct in a manner that is consistent with the values and principles of the Aasaman Nepal 

Essential Qualifications: 

  • Mater in Public Health
  • At least 5 years’ working experience 
  • Knowledge of DRR components, livelihood and nutrition components
  • An excellent computer skill on Microsoft Office Excel and  Microsoft Office Word 
  • Prior experience in training would be an asset.

Age Limit: Candidate between 21 years – 45 years are only eligible to apply for all the above post.

Duration: Fixed term, till July 2020

All employees must adhere to child safeguarding in persons provisions covered in the project agreement.

Ensure adherence to Aasaman Nepal's policies and internal procedures, protocols, Aasaman Nepal's code of Conduct with special attention to Child Protection and Do No Harm Policies.
