Tewa – Women's Fund of Nepal invites applications from visionary and committed Nepali women for its leadership position as the Program Officer. The Program Officer takes the lead role in managing Community Safety Net and Feminist Movement Building (CSN&FMB) project.
TOR for Programme Officers (PO) – 1 Position
- Design the programme (in detail) as per the project proposal with the consultation of TL.
- Develop a clear reporting format that is useful to capture the project work from the field.
- Timely implementation of the programs as per the plan.
- Close coordination with the civil societies/organizations, local governments unites (LGU), respective districts and province offices.
- Supervision and timely mobilize of Provincial Volunteer/Focal Persons.
- Facilitation of the events and conduct the trainings/workshops/meetings in the respective Municipalities.
- Prepare event reports immediately after each event and submit to the Team Leader (TL) and Monitoring & Documentation Officer.
- Provide necessary support to other project staff team for compiling reports, information and indicators.
- In consultation with the TL and other Programme team, draft, edit, and finalize planning, review and reporting documents.
- Support on compiling quarterly, bi-annual, annual, semi-final reports.
- Open accounts for the project in different social media platforms and update it as soon as any significant information is required to be disseminated with a support of Monitoring & Documentation Officer and Communication & Documentation Officer of Tewa.
- Prepare databases of project work for publications, prepare advocacy materials and other materials, including materials produced by partner organizations.
- Frequently field visit in assigned sites minimum 60% field visits for observations, communication, coordination and program implementation with the LGUs, local partners, network members, CSOs, consultants, existing CSNs etc. as per needs.
- Compile program updates and prepare project presentations as per needs.
- Be ready to support in the field and centre of existing CSN activities, if/when necessary.
Skills and Qualifications
- Master’s degree in relevant field
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in a similar organization, with demonstrated expertise and experience in financial management
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with internal departments and external partners
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines
- Ability to promote and ensure ethical practices and transparency across the organization
- Proactive problem-solving abilities
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and challenges
- Ability to mentor and guide team members
