About us:
We are a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political organization established in 2019, working to strengthen implementation science research for improved public health outcomes in Nepal. As part of our commitment to excellence and effective program delivery, we are seeking qualified and motivated individuals to join our team as a Program Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the effective implementation of program activities in close coordination with municipalities, health facilities, and field teams.
- Serve as a key liaison between the project team and local stakeholders, ensuring regular communication, coordination, and follow-up.
- Conduct field monitoring visits to observe program activities and provide feedback to strengthen implementation quality and fidelity.
- Support capacity-building efforts, including coordination and delivery of training or refresher sessions for Health Workers and FCHVs as needed.
- Contribute to routine process tracking, monitoring, and documentation of program activities and key indicators.
- Conduct qualitative data collection activities, including reflection interviews, and support transcription and analysis in line with project frameworks.
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate field documentation and reports, ensuring timely submission and proper record management.
- Identify implementation challenges and support field-level problem solving to ensure smooth execution of activities.
- Participate in regular coordination, review, and team meetings, sharing field insights to inform program planning and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with project guidelines, protocols, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build constructive relationships with internal and external partners.
- Prior experience supporting or managing project activities, including coordination with partners and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with research is an added advantage.
Skills and competencies:
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, team-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Nepali, including clear and accurate documentation.
- Demonstrated ability in team coordination, strategic thinking, and analytical problem-solving.
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
