It works with a mission to enable Karnali people to claim and exercise their rights for poverty reduction and improved livelihoods through their organization, research, policy advocacy and judicious resources mobilization. It has been implementing various project/programs with the funding support of different partner organizations.

KIRDARC Nepal is a non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to promoting the rights of marginalized and excluded communities through interventions in human rights, democracy, good governance, and inclusive development. The organization works to strengthen the capacities of rights holders, duty bearers, and civil society organizations to advance social justice, equitable access to opportunities and resources, and sustainable community development.

KIRDARC Nepal is implementing the "Strengthening Community Mechanism to Identify and Reduce Unvaccinated Children in Karnali through Digitalization and Community Engagement" project across all local levels of Surkhet and Kalikot districts, with financial support from UNICEF. The project aims to strengthen community-based mechanisms for identifying and reaching unvaccinated children by promoting digitalization, community engagement, and improved coordination, thereby contributing to increased immunization coverage and equitable access to essential vaccination services.

To ensure the effective implementation of this project, KIRDARC Nepal invites applications from qualified, competent, self-motivated, and committed Nepali citizens to fill the following full-time positions:

1. Program Manager (Lead) – 1 Position based in Birendranagar, Surkhet

Academic Qualification and Experience: Master’s degree in public health, Epidemiology, Health Management, or related discipline. Minimum 7 years of experience in public health programme management, including UNICEF, WHO, Gavi, or other donor-funded projects and immunization programmes.

Key Skills and Knowledge required: - Candidate having Strong leadership, stakeholder coordination, and donor compliance, with proficiency in DHIS2, CHT, GIS, and Microsoft Office. Excellent analytical, communication, facilitation, and report writing skills in Nepali and English, with a good understanding of organizational policies.

2. Project Officer - 1 Position based in Manma, Kalikot

Academic Qualification and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in public health, Nursing, Health Sciences, or related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in public health or immunization programmes. 

Key Skills and Knowledge required: - Good knowledge of public health programmes, DHIS2, GIS, and digital health systems, with strong facilitation, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills, and willingness to travel extensively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills in Nepali and English are required.

3. MEAL Officer - 1 Position based in Birendranagar, Surkhet

Academic Qualification and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Monitoring & Evaluation, Population Studies, or a related field (master’s preferred), with a minimum of 5 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and data management for health or development programmes, including UNICEF, WHO, USAID, or other donor-funded projects.

Key Skills and Knowledge required: - Strong knowledge of DHIS2, Kobo Toolbox, CHT, GIS, Power BI, and Excel, with excellent data analysis, report writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.
