It works with a vision of a just and prosperous society.

KIRDARC Nepal has been implementing the “Socio-Economic Empowerment with Dignity and Sustainability (SEEDS)” programme in Kapilvastu in partnership with Stromme Foundation Nepal. The overall goal of the programme is to support 1800 families of Shivaraj Municipality and Buddhabhumi Municipality of Kapilvastu to live resilient and dignified life with enhanced socio-economic rights and equalities.

Therefore, KIRDARC Nepal is expecting job applications from suitable qualified, dynamic, and motivated candidates to fulfill the vacant position of Pedagogical Resource Person based in Chandrauta, Kapilvastu.

Position Description: Pedagogical Resource Person 1 Person (Based in Chandrauta, Kapilvastu)

Minimum Qualification and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant discipline with 2 years experience in teaching and/or teacher training.

Contract Period: 8 Month

Key Skills and Knowledge required:- Knowledge to facilitate the implementation of the local curriculum in schools, Supporting the preparation and utilization of teaching-learning materials in the classroom, making plans, and coordinating with municipalities, schools, and teachers to ensure effective implementation of the local curriculum, Support the head teacher and class teacher in creating a child-friendly environment in schools, Provide support to teachers and schools on pedagogical issues such as lesson planning, assessment, and classroom management,  Excellent writing, speaking, documentation and reporting skills in English and Nepali- Sound knowledge and experiences on participatory development approaches- Pro-active, innovative, willingness and committed stay and travel in the remote areas to work with poor and vulnerable communities and to guide team members; must have 2 wheelers’ driving license.
