Christian Aid brings substantial expertise in emergency response, recovery and rehabilitation work, DRR, social Inclusion and Resilient Livelihoods with proven ability to deliver emergency food security and livelihood restoration support through its local partners. CA has a longstanding partnership with donors such as European Commission, ECHO, DFID, Irish Aid, USAID etc. for supporting humanitarian responses in South and South-East Asia region, for major emergencies. About us
Christian Aid is an international organisation based out in UK/ Ireland working with local partners and communities to fight injustice, respond to humanitarian emergencies, campaign for change, and help people claim the services and rights they are entitled to. In Nepal, CAID is implementing Country Programme Strategy with transition from humanitarian to long term sustainable development focus with key objectives of Resilient Livelihoods, Gender Equality and Social Inclusion and Disaster Risk Reduction and Humanitarian Response. CAID Nepal country programme is an integrated programme focusing on linkages between humanitarian to developmental themes post-earthquake recovery programme with key impact areas on (a) Resilient Livelihood (Economic and Social Empowerment) (b) Gender Equality and Social Inclusion for vulnerable groups and (c) DRR and Humanitarian Response.
Christian Aid (CA) is undergoing a large organisational change process which affects our work in Nepal. As a part of the change process the management has decided to disestablish all the roles based in Nepal Country Office, due the decision of closing its operations in Nepal in the year 2021.
The consultant will be engaged to support Christian Aid in providing outplacement services to CA staff in Nepal.
Scope of Engagement
Services under the outplacement program comprises of following
activities:
Group workshop -The content of the program
should be:
- Self-Discovery
- Career Planning
- Self-Marketing
- Difficult Conversations
- Networking
- Active/Passive Job Market
One-on-one Career Coaching Session for each participant. These sessions will be conducted a few days after the group workshop. The content of the program should be:
· Resume Building Activity
· Career Mapping/Job Search Plan
