About HHRD USA/Nepal
Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) is US based global humanitarian relief and development organization that responds to human suffering in emergency, disaster, and development contexts around the world. Established in the United States in 2005, HHRD works regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, religion, or social background to support vulnerable and marginalized communities through a broad range of programs.
In Nepal, HHRD USA/Nepal operates as part of its international network and has been active in the country since around 2015, initially responding to the aftermath of the 2015 earthquake. Its work in Nepal spans both emergency response and long-term development initiatives, including orphan support, healthcare and medical camps (such as free health services and surgeries in underserved districts), clean water access projects, livelihood and skills training, and seasonal or community assistance programs.
Position Summary
The OSP (Orphan Support Program) Coordinator at HHRD USA/Nepal is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and strengthening the orphan support initiatives across seven operational districts of Nepal. Based in Kathmandu, the Coordinator ensures effective program delivery, partner coordination, donor reporting, and field supervision to enhance the well-being, protection, and development of supported school going orphans.

Qualifications & Experience
10+2 or bachelor’s degree with significant relevant experience may be considered.
Master’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Sociology, Psychology, or related field (preferred).
Minimum 1+ years of experience in humanitarian work, child-focused programs, preferably orphan/OVC support.
At least 1+ years in a supervisory or coordination role.
Experience working with NGO/INGOs in Nepal is preferable.
Good understanding of Nepal’s child protection framework.
