Orphanage Supervisor (Female)

REQUIREMENTS

• Certificate Level in any related field
• Must have ability to work with children and experience of working with children.
• Understanding of Children’s social, physical and intellectual growth
• Should have a good communication and interpersonal skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

KTS Orphanage has been established to provide homely atmosphere to orphans and semi orphans children rescued from streets and broken families. The age group varies from 4 years old up to 18 years old, until they are able to sustain themselves. KTS provide education sponsorship and support to these children. The Orphanage Supervisor will be directly responsible to the Director. 

• The Supervisor is to provide guidance and support to the students and to monitor their health, safety and well-being. 
• The Supervisor will be required to be on the premises from 9am to 5pm Sunday to Friday, and must be available over the weekend period on call. 
• Weekend Requirements:  The Supervisor is required to remain on call over the weekend period in case of any emergency. 
• The Supervisor will ensure that the timetable for daily tasks is updated on a regular basis, displayed in a prominent position and that students fulfil their obligations. 
• The Supervisor is required to keep stock of food enough for at least 1 week. Keep written record of all the expenses and submit to accounts section. 
• Monitor children’s activities and guide them in their studies.
• Frequent check of each student’s room, books, stationery, cloths including school dresses, etc. 
• Monitor children’s health and supervise visit to doctors and Hospitals as and when required in consultation with senior management. 
• The Supervisor is required to oversee cleanliness of the orphanage and ensure that any maintenance issues are reported to the senior management. 
• A quarterly written report are to be submitted to senior management with update on children’s  progress and performances and orphanage management and maintenance. 
• The Supervisor will be required to have good communication skills and interpersonal skills and the ability to provide support and guidance to young people on a wide range of personal issues.
