Job Responsibilities:

If selected for the position, you are expected to deliver the following:


  • Handle day-to-day operations of the company including internal as well as external communication, logistics for project implementation, project progress tracking, monitoring of field activities, human resource management, financial oversight, business development, and marketing.

  • Work closely with the finance team for finance-related record keeping, planning, and forecasting.

  • Systematically operate all HR processes from hiring to termination.

  • Engage in the development of policy documents of the company as required, in reference to existing laws and norms of the Government of Nepal.

  • Engage in strategic planning and goal-setting of the company in close coordination with the board of directors and management team.

  • Maintain a sound professional relationship with the clients, donors, and partner organizations of the company.

  • Update and store centrally all company documents including policies, agreements, financial reports, project outputs, data, and hardware/software assets of the company.

  • Handle documentation works required for project bidding, contracting, reporting, and closure.

  • Engage in overall timeline tracking of projects including start, end, milestones, payment schedules, contract extension, etc.

  • Develop, implement, and demonstrate effective business development strategies with more focus on digital marketing techniques.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in business administration, management, or similar course with at least 1-year experience or a bachelor’s degree in a similar field with at least 3 years experience.

  • Experience in handling the administration of a private tech company including client relationships, projects tracking, field activities monitoring, and daily operational issues.

  • Proven experience in managing human resources including recruitment, induction, orientation, growth, review, appraisal, and termination.

  • Sound knowledge of finance, bookkeeping, accounting, auditing, prevalent laws, and the taxation system of Nepal.

  • Experience in developing and implementing strategies for marketing and business development.

  • Experience in participating in tender development and procurement processes of the Government of Nepal.

  • Able to use tools like Google Suite, Microsoft Office, mobile and web-based data systems, communication tools like Slack, Discord, ClickUp, and others.

  • Tech-savvy, updated with the latest technologies globally.

Soft Skills and Personal Qualities:

  • Excellent skills in both written and spoken English and Nepali.

  • Diplomacy in handling day-to-day issues in operations of the company as well as longer-term relationship development/management.

  • Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and positively impact the work environment and productivity

  • Proven experience working with overall operations of technology or digital mapping companies 

  • Passion for technology, the internet, digital content, and the mobile market segment

  • Interests in digital marketing, content creation, social media marketing, and other business development initiatives.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure during hard deadlines without compromising the quality of work.

  • Effectiveness in time and resource management.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills  and a strong bias towards data-based decision making

  • Leadership ability in driving a company with a highly motivated technical team.

  • Synchronization with the vision, mission, goals, and objectives of the organization while working closely with the leadership team.

  • Experimental nature to introduce better tools, processes, guidelines, and workflows for the betterment of the company.

  • Friendly, lively, ethical, and compassionate nature while working with the team - both professionally and personally.
