VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
A fast-growing cross-border e-commerce startup operating in the Middle East and Europe, with a team in Kathmandu, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented operation officer to support its expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues via chat and email.
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges.
- Escalate complex issues as needed.
- Follow up with suppliers to track and expedite pending orders.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and supplier follow-ups.
- Support the content team with content creation tasks as needed.
- Identify and escalate complex or high-priority issues to the appropriate departments.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve processes and customer service standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA/BBS) or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service.
- Proven experience in customer service or operations.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to articulate mails and messages from customers and reply.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with Google Sheets and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of content creation tools and practices is a plus.
- Must be comfortable working the night shift.
- Must have a laptop.
