Introduction:
Records Office is to accurately, securely, legally and effectively process and maintain over 38000 records (physical and electronic) of Ex-Gurkha community on Gurkha Pension Scheme in order to provide them with post-retirement administrative and welfare services.

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.
Job description:
- Help Office Manager with the day to day operation of records office including control of movement/accounting of personal documents and maintain the condition of the office and arrange for necessary repairs.
- Assist in the coordination and management of all incoming correspondences; that includes prompt acknowledgment to the sender including mention of insufficient documents (if any).
- Prepare First Sight Files including printing and scanning of documents.
- Provide help to respond to all general queries.

- Help provide advice and issuance of Hong Kong ID Supporting Letters and Family Details (Kindred Rolls)to ex-servicemen community.
- Help keep accurate record of Records Office’s staff leave details.
- Support line management in their tasks, including deputising for them when required.
- Any other tasks commensurate with the grade.

Applicant should have good written/ spoken English and Nepali language skills. Proven experience, qualifications, and training is preferable for this role to deliver the job responsibility effectively and efficiently. You will be assessed on your IT skills through a Practical Assessment and English Language skills to qualify for interviews during the sifting and selection process.
