Rural Education and Environment Development Center (REED) Nepal has envisioned for "the quality education and resilient environment for the just society". As a consortium project, Learning Champion Despite Pandemic- Strong Girls II Project (2022-2026), work cross-sector to promote the girls friendly and inclusive quality education in schools, develop livelihoods for the families in need, empower the girls from Dalit and marginalized communities through the Dignity Center. This project is implemented in partnership with Association for Dalit Women's Advancement of Nepal (ADWAN), Green Tara Nepal (GTN) and Rural Education and Environment Development Center (REED Nepal, in country consortium lead). Technical and financial support for this project is available from Karuna Deutschland e.V, Karuna Trust and BMZ. REED Nepal is committed to child safeguarding, and prevention against the sexual abuse and exploitation.
We are looking for experienced and highly qualified Nepali candidates for the following positions. Candidates with proven skills of meeting the requirements and dedicated to work in NGO are encouraged to apply for this position:
Position: Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer
Required number: 1 (Female Only)
Duty station: Project Office Butwal, Rupandehi with frequent field visit
Required Qualifications/Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in social science, Education or relevant field;
- At least Three (3) years of working experience in MEAL or relevant field in I/NGOs;
- Familiar with the research ethics, research proposal development, coordination for field work, survey tool development;
- Fluency in written and spoken English, including exceptional communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office package and internet;
- Experience with data collection, data analysis, data presentation, case story, monitoring including writing both qualitative and quantitative reports;
- Ability to travel to rural areas including overnights during field visit; and
- Experience with partnerships approach in programme implementation
