Mid-Level QA Engineer (Automation) - REMOTE

About the Role

We are looking for a Mid-Level QA Engineer with strong hands-on experience in automation and modern testing practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated and manual tests to ensure product quality across web, API, and database layers. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to drive high-quality releases.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automation scripts using Cypress and other modern testing frameworks.
• Perform end-to-end testing across multiple environments.
• Conduct API testing to validate integrations and backend services.
• Perform database validation and DB testing to ensure data integrity.
• Execute regression, smoke, and functional tests to verify system stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and track bugs.
• Continuously improve test strategies, frameworks, and processes.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in QA Engineering / Software Testing.
• Strong knowledge of automation frameworks with hands-on Cypress experience.
• Proficiency in API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, Swagger).
• Experience with SQL / database testing.
• Knowledge of modern testing tools and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with performance/load testing tools.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Salary

• Rs 35000 to 45000
