International Nepal Fellowship (Nepal) is a Non-Government Organization established in 1952 and serves the poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life to its fullness through health and development services.

INF Nepal is currently working in health and community development services in the Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces of Nepal.

For the following positions, INF Nepal Green Pastures Hospital and Shining Hospital INF Banke is seeking competent, skilled, service oriented, and devoted Nepali citizens who shares our vision, mission, and values.

1. Position: Medical Officer

Required Number: Few

Location: Green Pastures Hospital, Pokhara

Purpose of the Job:

The post holder oversees all the medical work of the inpatient and outpatient units of GPH, providing technical input and support, ensuring the smooth running of the inpatient unit and achieving an excellent standard of care of the patients in a holistic manner.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:

• Must have an MBBS Degree, registered at Nepal Medical Council with a minimum of one year of post qualification clinical experience. However, freshers are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience in teaching, research, and community health is an advantage.
• Must demonstrate sensitivity and confidentiality.
• Must have leadership skills, cross-cultural skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to use manual or automated hospital equipment.
• Good clinical history-taking, examination, and making relevant differential diagnosis skills.
• Must have basic computer skill and knowledge of software/systems related to hospitals.
• Good English Language skills both written and spoken.
• Must have proactive approach to patient care and must be honest and demonstrate integrity.
• Good understanding of, and agreement with the values which are important to INF.

2. Position: Medical Officer

Required Number: 1

Location: Shining Hospital INF Banke

Purpose of the Job:

The jobholder is responsible for contributing towards setting up, developing, maintaining and enhancing the technical standard of the dermatology and leprosy care of Shining Hospital INF Banke, aiming to make Shining Hospital INF Banke a specialized hospital for care of Leprosy and dermatology in western part of Nepal.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:

• Must have an MBBS Degree, registered at Nepal Medical Council and have a minimum of one year of post-qualification clinical experience. However, freshers are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience in handling inpatient/outpatient department and minor surgeries especially leprosy affected, or rehabilitation related or skin-related is an advantage.
• Must demonstrate sensitivity and confidentiality.
• Must have leadership skills, cross-cultural skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to use manual or automated hospital equipment.
• Able to ensure that clinical staff follows healthcare regulations and safety standards.
• Good clinical history-taking, examination, and making relevant differential diagnosis skills.
• Must have basic computer skill and knowledge of software/systems related to hospitals.
• Good English Language skills both written and spoken.
• Must have a proactive approach to patient care and must be honest and demonstrate integrity.
• Able to demonstrate equality and compassion towards people affected by leprosy.
• Good understanding of, and agreement with the values which are important to INF.
