The Shangri~La Hotel & Resort (http://www.hotelshangrila.com) Nepal invites application from interested Nepalese candidates for Junior Executive - Housekeeping based in a first five star boutique hotel in Kathmandu as a Full Time employee.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting and assist to the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing and supervise the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department. Responsible to conduct daily inspection by using Housekeeping Checklist to inspect on all areas within the Hotel’s premises to ensure adherence to high standards of cleanliness and maintenance in accordance with the hotel's policies and procedures with pest control management. Responsible to communicate effectively ensuring the guests feedback is received and dealt with immediately. Responsible to forming closer relations with concern departments and contract cleaners/external suppliers, and reach to common goal of improving the quality services and prioritizing tasks which require immediate attention. Responsible to generate and submission of monthly reports, duty roster and ordering of room and cleaning supplies, handle and record Lost and Found, and contribute towards the Hotel's revenue potential through effectiveness of staffing, and efficiency of room turnover.
REQUIREMENTS:
The candidate should have Graduate (preferably in BHM, and females are encouraged to apply), and at least 3/4 years of relevant work experience in a hotel or a similar standard industry is required for this position.
