Rural Development Centre (RDC) Nepal in partnership with Plan International Nepal is implementing Sabal Balika Sabal Samudaya (SaBaSS) project in Chakraghatta Rural Municipality of Sarlahi District, Madhesh Province, Nepal. As part of this project, RDC Nepal will construct/upgrade/ renovate WASH facilities in four selected schools of Chakraghatta Rural Municipality.

We hereby invite qualified and experienced construction companies registered in Nepal, with demonstrated capacity in WASH infrastructure construction, installation, and repair works, to participate in this tender process. Interested and eligible firms are encouraged to submit their bids in accordance with the tender requirements.

Tender Instructions

• Tender documents will be available from 22 December 2025 to 31 December 2025 upon request via procurement@rdcnepal.org and may also be collected in person from RDC Nepal’s office (address below) with copies of:
  • Company/ Business Registration Certificate
  • VAT Registration Certificate
  • Tax Clearance Certificate for FY 2081/2082
• The deadline for submission of tender documents is 05 January 2026 by 4:00 PM. Tender document collection and submission time: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Sunday to Friday (except RDC Nepal holidays). No online submissions of tender documents will be accepted. Only hard copy submissions will be considered.
• Technical bids will be opened on 06 January 2026 at 11:00 AM, and financial bids will be opened on 11 January 2026 at 11:00 AM at the RDC Nepal’s Head Office, Chandrapur-4, Rautahat. Only the qualified technical proposals will be considered for further evaluations of financial proposals.
• Bidders must submit a Bid Security (Bank Guarantee) amounting to 2.5% of the total proposed bid amount, deposited in the name of this office. Detailed information related to the Bid Security is specified in the bid form.
• If any additional information or clarification related to the bid is required, such information and notices may also be obtained from the office of this organization.
• The Procurement Committee of Rural Development Centre (RDC) Nepal, Rautahat, reserves full authority to accept or reject any bid, in whole or in part, with or without assigning any reason, and to cancel the bid process at any stage.
• Any bid submitted without following the prescribed procedures, found to be incomplete, or received after the deadline, shall not be subject to any action and shall be automatically disqualified.
• The terms and conditions mentioned in this notice, along with other necessary provisions, shall be governed by this notice, the organization’s procurement and financial regulations (2023), and the prevailing laws of the Government of Nepal.
