Invitation To Bid (ITB) for Supplying VTM Swab collection and RNA Extraction Kit for COVID-19 testing

Good Neighbors International (GNI) is an international non-governmental organization working in Nepal since 2002 with the objective of improving the lives of people, especially children through education, income generating, health services, WASH, advocacy, network building, and disaster risk reduction activities.

Due to the increasing number of infections of COVID-19 in Nepal, GNI Nepal required to purchase the VTM SWAB collection and RNA Extraction kit compatible to the PCR kit which has been imported from South Korea to support Nepal Government. Hence GNI Nepal invites bids from the eligible and interested firms/suppliers to supply the VTM SWAB collection and RNA Extraction kit compatible to its PCR testing kit.

Procedures for the submission of bid:

Interested and eligible firms/suppliers are requested to submit the bid courier/hand delivery to Good Neighbors International Nepal Office Address or email to eoi@gninepal.org clearly marking the subject with “Bid for Supply of VTM SWAB collection and RNA Extraction Kit” by 19th Oct, 2020, 17:00 Hrs (Nepali Time). A details Terms of Reference (TOR) and bidding form including the specification of PCR testing kit can be downloaded at http://gnnepal.org/who-we-are/notice/.

Bid received after the deadline will not be considered and only shortlisted firms/suppliers meeting the compatibility to PCR testing kit will be called for further process. Canvassing at any stage of process shall lead to automatic disqualification. The organization reserves all rights to qualify/disqualify application with or without providing any reasons whatsoever. All bids will be treated with the highest confidentiality.
