JWAS-Nepal is a non-government and non-profit making social organization which works to uplift the standard of living for the women, children and other marginalized people of rural community and to improve their economic, health and social conditions by proper mobilization of local resources with community participation. It was established in 2050 B.S. (1993A.D.) in Dhanusha District. The organization was founded and is operated by a group of women social workers.

The Civil Society for Nature-based Local Agri-food System (CS4FS) Project is being implemented by a consortium comprising Janaki Women Awareness Society (JWAS), Aasman Nepal, and Public Awareness Campaign (PAC) Nepal. The project is supported financially and technically by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and Welthungerhilfe (WHH). It will be carried out from 2025 to 2028 in three municipalities of Dhanusha District, Madhesh Province: Ganeshman Charnath, Sahidnagar, and Janaknandini.
The overall objective of the project is to promote a local agri-food system in Madhesh Province through nature-based solutions and policy localization. To achieve this, the project has planned several interventions to support farmers in improving food security and fostering a climate-resilient agri-food system in the targeted areas.
Under the CS4FS project, Janaki Women Awareness Society (JWAS) Nepal invites sealed bids from eligible suppliers for the Supply of Agricultural Input Materials—Seeds, Equipment & Tools.
