SonahaBikashSamaj (SBS) is a non-governmental, non-profitable, civil society organization, initially set up as a small organization in 2011 by a group of Sonaha. It was officially registered in 2011 as SonahaBikashSamaj (SBS) in District Administration office Bardiya and Social Welfare Council in 2011 A.D. With the passage of time, SBS has been able to expand itself into one of the recognizable organization in Bardiya district and Nepal together with its diverse development programs covering the indigenous and poorest people through the integrated programs.

Good Neighbors Japan (GNJP) is a member of Good Neighbors International, which functions as a non-government organization around the world in over 40 countries and provides support and relief to over 210,000 children.

In financial and technical support of GNJP, the SBS is implementing WASH in school project in Bardiya district covering 15 schools of Rajapur, Geruwa and Madhuban rural/municipalities.

The SBS invites bids for construction of gender friendly toilets and drinking water system in 15 schools of project area.

Procedures for the submission of bid:

Interested and eligible firms/suppliers are requested to submit the sealed bid via courier/hand delivery to the Addresses mentioned in ToR; clearly marking the subject with: 

• “Bid for Supply of construction materials” 
• “Bid for construction of drinking water system” 

The bids can be submitted for comprehensive or partially for specific works mentioned in ToR.

The bid document must be submitted by 2 February 2021, 17:00 Hrs (Nepali Time). The details Terms of References (TORs) are available in https://www.sbs.org.np/details/download 

Bid received after the deadline will not be considered and only shortlisted firms/suppliers meeting the compatibility to the task will be called for further process. Canvassing at any stage of process shall lead to automatic disqualification. The organization reserves all rights to qualify/disqualify application with or without providing any reasons whatsoever. All bids will be treated with the highest confidentiality.
