Invitation for sealed quotation for installation of flood monitoring sensor system

Multi-dimensional Action for Development (MADE) Nepal, in partnership with Lutheran World Federation (LWF), invites qualified and experienced firms to submit sealed quotations/proposals for the supply, installation, integration, and commissioning of a Flood Monitoring Sensor System in Chitwan District.

The flood monitoring sensor will be installed at a location between Devghat and Golaghat, Chitwan, as identified and technically recommended by the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM).

Scope of Work:

• Supply and installation of a real-time flood monitoring sensor system.
• Integration of real-time data transmission to the DHM central dashboard.
• Establishment of an automated SMS-based early warning system to directly alert 200 households of Susta Rural Municipality based on predefined flood thresholds.
• Provision of training, documentation, and warranty support.

Interested firms must:

• Have proven experience in hydrological monitoring systems, telemetry, and early warning technologies.
• Ensure compliance with DHM technical standards and Government of Nepal regulations.
• Demonstrate capacity to integrate data with government monitoring platforms.
