Social Economic Baseline Survey for “Inclusive Rural Development Project in Bardiya District Nepal”

Background

KOICA Inclusive Rural Development Project in Bardiya (IRDB) District, Nepal targets eight Municipalities within Bardiya District, Lumbini Province, Nepal, and aims to vitalized local economy through Locally Initiated Projects (LIPS). 

LIP (Locally Initiated Project) is being implemented in collaboration with the Government of Nepal and the Government of the Republic of Korea, and is managed by the Project Management Consultancy Korea Institute for Development Strategy (KDS) and Global Expert Hub Consultancy (GEH).

Korea Institute for Development Strategy (KDS) invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from Consultancy for Social Economy Baseline Survey of KOICA Inclusive Rural Development Project in Bardiya (IRDB) District, Nepal. 

Requirements for the lead consultancy are as follows

• Proven 5 to 7 years of experience conducting and leading baseline, end line study both in quantitative and qualitative data analysis particularly focusing on cooperative led integrated and inclusive rural development project.
• Sound knowledge, skills and experience in research methodology and statistical analysis application along with analysis of Socio-economic data and development of Socio-economic indicators
• Experienced in leading research or carrying out social economic surveys of integrated rural development projects.

• Cover letter expressing interest in the project for baseline survey. 
• Separate Technical and Financial proposal
• Detail profile of company and Consultant's CV
• Updated firm registration, VAT and Tax clearance certificate of FY 2081/82.

Application deadline

Interested companies should submit their EOI by 29 January 2026 before 5 PM.

The Project Management Office (PMO) of KOICA IRDB project reserves the right to cancel this Expression of Interest (EOI) at any stage with or without any notification.
