INF Nepal, established in 1952, is a Nepali non-government organization serving Nepali people through health and development work to improve the quality of life of individuals and community as a whole. The organization works in four provinces (Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces) of Nepal to bring sustainable improvement in the health and development of individuals and communities by empowering communities, providing health care, and preparing for disasters. The major focused thematic areas are (i) livelihood and resilience (ii) disability inclusion/rehabilitation (iii) mother and neonatal child health (iv) Leprosy neglected tropical disease (NTD). Similarly, gender inclusion, climate change adaptation, and disaster resilience are INF Nepal’s cross-cutting thematic areas through the community health departments and health and hospital services. 

INF Nepal, therefore, requires the service of a qualified independent consultant to carry out a Final Evaluation of Community Medical Outreach Project (CMOP) through the western part of Nepal. This project aims to contribute to improving the health situation in remote areas in western Nepal. The project outcome is health status of particularly vulnerable population groups: people with disabilities, people affected by leprosy and people threatened or affected by disasters - is significantly improved through the use of appropriate medical services and disaster preparedness.

INF Nepal invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Professionals/Experts/Qualified individuals and companies for above mentioned final evaluation of CMOP Project.

Requirements for the lead consultant/consultancy are:

  • MPhil / Ph.D. candidate degree in any discipline with relevant experience, preference will be given to Ph.D
  • Proven experience in research, monitoring, and evaluation of non-governmental community development structures, processes, and integrated programs.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of service provision to persons with disabilities, leprosy-affected people, disaster risk reduction, and climate change and adaption in Nepal. 
  • Have completed at least three qualitative research independently.
  • Consultant/ consultancy should be registered in VAT, latest renewal, and Tax clearance certificate.

Interested individual or company need to submit the following documents along with name and CV of Final Evaluator to the below office address.

  • Cover letter expressing interest for final evaluation.
  • A brief technical and financial proposal along with a budget breakdown.
  • Bio-Data of firm, consultant's team members, and proposed professionals must sign a copy of CVs mentioning their proposed position in this assignment.
  • Updated firm registration, VAT, and Tax clearance certificate.
  • Term of Reference (ToR) is available in the annex below and can be downloaded.
  • The above documents shall be sent to procurement@nepal.inf.org also can be submitted the physical copy to INF Nepal Green Pastures Hospital, NayaGaun Pokhara 15.
  • Date/Time of Submission 5:00 PM of 19 Feb 2024 (2080 Falgun-7).

The INF Nepal has rights to accept or reject any/all proposals without assigning any reasons, whatsoever.
