Re-Invitation of Bid for seed procurement of SirahaDistict

1. Nepal Red Cross Society, under SAKSHAM program with the program financially supported by United States Agency for International Development – Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance (USAID/BHA) and technically supported by Lutheran World Relief (LWR), has planned to procure improved varieties of paddy (Swarna sub1, Radha 11, Radha 12, Rampur Mansuli and Sava mansunliMeghdudh) and vegetable seeds (cauliflower, okra, bitter gourd, bottle gourd,  black eyes peas (bodi), tomato, and onion etc.) that are approved by the government of Nepal and meet the quality standards and requirements as mentioned in the Seed Quality Information and Declaration Form. The bidding is open to all eligible bidders who are registered seed grower and/or supplier and meet the seed quality requirements.
2. Nepal Red Cross Society invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of improve variety of paddy and vegetable seeds under National Competitive Bidding procedures. The bidder has to submit the seed quality information and declaration form based on the lab reports of the seed they possess. Bidders are requested to attach the now available seed lab reports of the varieties listed.
3. Interested Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of Nepal Red Cross Society, Siraha District Chapter, Siraha Bazar, Siraha.

5. The sealed bids will be opened in the presence/ absence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 2:00 pm on 02 March 2021at the office of NRCS Siraha.
6. If the last date of submission or opening falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
7. The bidder  shallbe able to provide the required seeds in at least two batches in agreement with NRCS Siraha.
8. The bidder is responsible for overall delivery of the seedsto Siraha bazar Sirahaand compliance with the required documentation and quality indicators.
9. NRCS reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, without thereby incurring any liability to Bidders.
10. VAT/ PAN registration certificate, Tax clearance certificate, firm/company registration certificate, seed grower or supplier registration, copy of citizenship and self-declaration letter must be submitted along with the tender or bid documents.
11. Other term and conditions will be as per NRCS, Financial and Procurement rule and regulations.
