POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients, building candidate pipelines, and delivering manpower solutions that meet client workforce needs. This is a front-line commercial role requiring a strong understanding of the recruitment and staffing industry, the ability to lead and motivate a team, and a relentless focus on targets and results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new business clients across target industries and markets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with client companies and key hiring decision-makers.
- Understand client workforce requirements and translate them into actionable recruitment briefs.
- Negotiate terms of business, service agreements, and placement fees with clients.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and drive repeat business and referrals.
Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline Development
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates across relevant sectors.
- Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure a consistent supply of candidates that meet client requirements.
- Actively source candidates through multiple channels including job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Build talent pools for high-demand roles to enable fast placement turnaround.
Sales Performance & Target Achievement
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly placement and revenue targets.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to successful placement and aftercare.
- Prepare and present sales reports, pipeline updates, and forecasts to the CEO.
- Continuously identify new revenue opportunities within existing and new accounts.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and recruitment team to achieve collective targets.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular coaching and feedback.
- Foster a high-performance, results-driven team culture.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth candidate-client matching and placement processes.
Market Intelligence
- Stay current on industry trends, labour market developments, and competitor activity.
- Provide insights and recommendations to leadership on market opportunities and sales strategy.
- Represent Navon Jobs professionally in the market and at industry events where applicable.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales within the manpower, recruitment, or staffing industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a recruitment environment.
- Experience managing or leading a sales or recruitment team is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong commercial acumen and client-facing sales skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and candidate pipelines simultaneously.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
