Robotics Association of Nepal (RAN) is the only national-level non-profit association that provides an outstanding platform for students and enthusiasts all over Nepal. RAN is established to promote, educate, explore, and compete in the field of robotics with the vision of representing Nepal all across the globe in the field of Robotics and Automation. Our mission is to create platforms, partnerships, and possibilities to enable Nepali organizations and individuals to understand the implications of the science of mechanics, electronics, robotics, and coding and implement them to find solutions to everyday life problems. Our objective is to provide a problem-based learning environment where youths can explore solutions to automate and mechanise everyday processes and build effective and efficient systems that lead to better and dignified lives.

Swisscontact in Nepal is implementing the European Union funded Creating Opportunities for Youth in Digital Economy (CODE) project in partnership with Robotics Association of Nepal and Restless Development in Gandaki and Madhesh Province. The overall objective of CODE is to contribute to inclusive and sustainable economic growth by equipping young people with the digital knowledge, skills, and opportunities necessary to participate meaningfully in the digital economy. This will be achieved through strengthening the capacities of CSOs, training service providers, schools, and local governments. RAN invites applications from qualified candidates (Nepali citizens) for the following positions:

Position: ICT Expert (Kathmandu with frequent travel to project areas)

Required Education and Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s running degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• At least 5-10 years of experience in ICT, digital skills, or emerging technology programs

• Strong expertise in digital tools, emerging technologies, and training systems

Position: Field Officers, Two positions, Gandaki (Pokhara) or Madhesh (Birgunj), with regular field travel

Required Education and Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or running in IT, Management, Development Studies, or related field

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in project implementation or field coordination

• Experience organizing trainings, events, or community activities

Position: Admin and Finance Officer Kathmandu (RAN office)

Required Education and Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or Masters running in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

• 5 years of relevant experience in finance and administration
