ABOUT US

SWAN is a nonprofit organization working alongside the Government of Nepal since 1994. SWAN has been providing hopes in the lives of rural women and children of Nepal by focusing on four thematic goals - education, health, livelihoods, water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). In addition, we incorporate ecotourism, gender equality and social inclusion (GESI), and humanitarian assistance as major cross-cutting issues for the sustainability of our programmes.

As a development and humanitarian organization, our effort focuses on needy children, disadvantaged women and marginalized communities, mostly working in Nepal's remote communities. Currently, we are working in Baglung, Udayapur, Achham, and Bajura.
