Human Resources and Operations Coordinator – 1 no (Kathmandu Based) | Summary of Job Purpose: The HR & Operations Coordinator leads HR and operational functions, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and strategic alignment with Mercy Corps’ mission. This position is responsible for managing HR policies, talent development, employee relations, overseeing procurement, logistics, IT, safety, security, ensuring adherence to Nepalese labor laws, donor regulations, and Mercy Corps policies and promoting Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) and Safeguarding across all functions. Educational qualifications and experience: Master’s degree or equivalent in Management, Human Resource, Administration & Operations with a minimum of 7 years of HR and Operations experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role in an INGO setting. Excellent negotiation, representation skills, and the ability to work comfortably with an ethnically diverse staff in a sensitive environment. Prior experience in Safeguarding implementation and Prior experience in salary scale revisions, policy reviews and updates, and leading other strategic HR change initiatives.
