ADRA Nepal invites applications from qualified and experienced Nepalese Citizens for the following positions.

Human Resource Officer (Kathmandu based): One

Qualification and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organization Behaviour or related degree with minimum of three years of experience in similar position in development organizations, preferably with INGOs.
  • Candidate with specialization in Human Resource Management is desirable and he/she should possess good interpersonal, communication, facilitation, coordination, planning and recruitment skills.

Project Coordinator (Bardibas, Mahottari based): One

The position is for European Union (EU) funded “Local Initiatives to Reduce Impacts of Climate Change (LIRIC)” project. The project aims to contribute towards reduced poverty and secured livelihoods by enhancing resilience of poor and vulnerable communities to climate change impacts. The project will basically focus on three components: mobilize grass-root CSOs on climate issues, promote climate adaptation/mitigation technologies and practices, and collaborate with Local Governments to create an enabling environment for climate resilient development.

Qualification and Competencies:

  • Master’s degree in Agriculture or related field with minimum 5 years of experience in climate change issues and governance at local level, impact on agriculture and livelihoods, and community level adaptation/mitigation actions. Prior similar experience as Project Coordinator/Manager is highly desirable.
