GESI E-Course Designer / Graphic Designer

Beyond Beijing Committee (BBC) Nepal is looking for competent candidates as consultants for the following positions:

1. GESI E-Course Designer (Content Development)- 1

Responsibilities:

• Develop course content on Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) including the exercise modules for digital platforms
• Collaborate with BBC Nepal’s team to conceptualize and develop the content.
• Research and include up-to-date information regarding GESI in the content.

Core Competencies:

• Master’s degree in Human Rights, Gender Studies, development studies and/or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in GESI content writing with a strong track record of content development. An experience in designing the course on GESI will be given priority.
• A prior experience in GESI programming and advocacy will be an asset.
• Strong writing skills, particularly the ability to present accessible, persuasive, coherent writing styles on different topics/domains.
• Strong understanding of English grammar, syntax, and vocabulary.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry terminology and trends related to the topic.

2. Graphic Designer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with BBC Nepal’s team to conceptualize and develop visually engaging layouts for digital platforms.
• Ensure that all layouts are visually appealing, easy to read, and meet brand guidelines.
• Ensure the layouts are youthful and disability friendly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in layout design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, and color theory.
• Strong understanding of signs and symbols used in the context of GESI
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
