Frontend and Backend Developer

Kumo Labs is a digital services company based in Nepal, working on cutting-edge projects for clients in Japan as well as projects here at home. We are building a strong in-house development team to deliver reliable, high-quality, and innovative software solutions.

We are looking for passionate Frontend and Backend Developers to join our growing team.

Frontend Developer

Responsibilities:

• Build responsive and user-friendly web applications.
• Work closely with designers to implement clean and modern UI/UX.
• Optimize performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of React.js, Next.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS/Tailwind.
• Experience with state management tools (Redux, Zustand, or similar).
• Understanding of responsive design principles.
• Bonus: Experience with animations (Framer Motion) and UI libraries.

Backend Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain scalable backend systems.
• Build and integrate APIs for frontend applications.
• Manage relational and non-relational databases.
• Ensure application security and performance.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Node.js (Express/NestJS) or Python (Django/FastAPI).
• Experience with databases (MySQL. PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and API security.
• Bonus: Familiarity with cloud services and containerization (Docker).
