Call for Applications

NAAMII is a profit-not-distributing AI Center of Excellence, founded by Nepali researchers to build a self-sustaining AI ecosystem from Nepal. Through the EU-funded UDAAN project (Unleashing Digital Acceleration and Ambition of Nepali Youth), we are preparing young Nepali women and men to learn, work and innovate with AI.

We are now calling for trainers who want to do more than deliver a course - people who will help design, test and strengthen a new, problem-based model of AI learning, and bring evidence from the field back into how it improves. Two roles are open:

1.  AI Foundation Trainer - 2 positions

Help learners move from basic AI awareness to real technical capability. You will help design and continuously improve the AI Foundation curriculum, and facilitate hands-on learning in programming, data, machine learning and responsible AI — guiding learners to build solutions around real academic, institutional and community problems.

You likely bring:

• Bachelor's or Master's in computer science, AI, data science, software engineering, mathematics, statistics, education technology or a closely related field
• At least 2 years in teaching, technical training, curriculum development, mentoring, or software/data-science/AI project work
• Practical proficiency in Python and common data-science / machine-learning tools
• Strong facilitation and communication skills; fluency in Nepali and working proficiency in English

2.  AI Native Trainer  -  1 position

Help students, educators and professionals understand, use and learn with AI - with confidence, critical judgment and responsibility. You will help shape the AI Native learning model, turn real academic and institutional challenges into problem-based learning experiences, and facilitate practical, responsible use of standard AI tools.

You likely bring:

• Bachelor's degree in education, computer science, IT or a related field
• Understanding of AI fundamentals and the ability to explain them clearly to non-technical audiences
• At least 1–2 years in teaching, training, facilitation or community education — preferably within academic institutions
• Strong facilitation and communication skills; fluency in Nepali and working proficiency in English
