Contract: Full-time, 6 months (renewable based on performance and organizational needs)

About e-Education

e-Education is a certified nonprofit organization based in Japan, founded in 2010 under the mission "Best Education to edge of the World." We deliver high-quality, video-based learning to students in areas where good teaching is hardest to reach, and have supported over 30,000 secondary students across 14 countries. We currently run programs in Bangladesh, the Philippines, Myanmar, Nepal, and Japan.

We have worked in Nepal since 2015. Our work here focuses on strengthening mathematics and science teaching in community secondary schools through ICT and video-based learning materials, in partnership with local municipalities and organizations. We are currently preparing to launch a new program with secondary schools in Madhesh Province. We are a small, field-driven team, and everyone — including interns — is trusted with real responsibility early on.

Key Responsibilities

Program Support (50%)

• Assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring education programs.
• Prepare meeting notes, reports, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with schools, teachers, and other stakeholders when required.
• Support event logistics, workshops, and training sessions.
• Assist in developing mathematics and science learning materials.
• Review and proofread educational content for accuracy and consistency.
• Support the creation of digital learning resources.

Research and Data Management (20%)

• Collect, clean, and organize educational data.
• Assist in analysing survey and assessment data using Excel or Google Sheets.
• Prepare summary reports and visualizations.

EdTech Support (20%)

• Assist in the development and improvement of educational web applications and digital learning platforms.
• Support the creation and integration of digital learning content.
• Test web applications and educational tools to identify bugs and suggest improvements.
• Work with the team to improve the usability and functionality of digital platforms.
• Explore and recommend AI tools and educational technologies that can enhance teaching and learning.

Administrative Support (10%)

Provide administrative support and assist with day-to-day operational responsibilities as needed. 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (completed or currently pursuing) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Science, Management, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
• Willingness to learn new digital tools and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Canva or other design tools.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, LaTeX, or educational technology tools.
• Experience in data analysis using Excel or Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude or other productivity tools.
• Interest in curriculum development and educational innovation.
