Mahila Atma Nirbharta Kendra (MANK), is a non-profit organization working for women’s and child’s rights. With more than 30 years of experience working in the sector of health, education, and protection of child and women’s rights, MANK is implementing Sindhupalchowk Integrated Health Project (SIHP) for the year 2022-2025 A.D. in partnership with FAIRMED Foundation Nepal in Sindhupalchowk district. The project is working on NTDs, maternal and neonatal health, WASH, DID, and health system strengthening as major thematic areas in its project sites. This project will implement initiatives to improve access to quality NTD and MNH services, the capacity of rural/municipalities, accountability, and public-private partnerships. Job description

  • Responsible for planning, implementation, and supervision of projects/programs, mainly independently in rural/municipalities
  • Able to organize and facilitate relevant training/orientation of the relevant sector 
  • Able to coordinate with local and district-level government structures for effective implementation of planned activities.
  • Provide technical support to Social mobilizers and Community Volunteers in carrying out community-level activities.
  • Assist Project Coordinator to prepare and submit quarterly progress updates, and bi-annual progress reports. 
  • Prepare reports and document the process of field activities.
  • Ensure proper and effective use of project resources and assets and their management according to the organization’s policy and guidelines. 
  • Having a valid two wheeler driving license.

Job description

  • Responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial statements and reports 
  • Forecast and request cash transfers and ensure an adequate supply of funds as mentioned in the agreement 
  • It is the responsibility to make sure that project’s all financial documents are kept safe and secure. 
  • Regular review of project-related financing and monitoring its payments, disbursements
  • Managing the organization’s cash flow, including forecasting and budgeting for cash flow needs.
  • Preparation of financial reports on a monthly/quarter basis
  • Any doubtful or suspect transactions by any staff should be communicated, also develop/establish internal controlling mechanisms as per need. 
  • Carry out administrative processes (staff file, leave record, timesheet, safety, and security) to meet the objective of program activities. 
  • Responsible for procurement, store keeping, maintaining assets register book, and logistic support of the project as required. 
  • Should be responsible for assuring transparency, promoting understanding and increasing cooperation with right holders and stakeholders.
