It works with a mission to enable Karnali people to claim and exercise their rights for poverty reduction and improved livelihoods through their organization, research, policy advocacy and judicious resources mobilization. It has been implementing various project/programs with the funding support of different partner organizations.

KIRDARC is an NGO dedicated to uphold the rights of marginalized and excluded communities through its interventions on Human Rights, Democracy and Good Governance with especial focus on building capacities of right holders, duty bearers and civil society contributing to inclusive growth and fair development. It works with a vision of ‘a just and prosperous society’.
In partnership with World Vision International Nepal (WVIN), KIRDARC Nepal is implementing the Integrated Protection & Community Engagement and Integrated Nutrition & Livelihood project(s) in Jumla district. KIRDARC Nepal is seeking suitable qualified, dynamic and motivated candidates for the position of Field Officer-Livelihood to fulfill the vacant position of the project.
Position: Field Officer – Livelihood, 2 Persons (Based in Jumla)
Minimum Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor degree in Agriculture Science or relevant discipline with three to five years of experience in related project (BSL-Building Secure Livelihood).
Key Skills and Knowledge required:
- Knowledge on BSL-Building Secure Livelihood- Promote and support Savings for Transformation (S4T) in the community -Facilitate & support for economic empowerment of most vulnerable especially women -Contribute to evidence building for livelihoods Knowledge on project model especially on Agriculture (CA, Agri Dev. NSA), NRM and DRR (FMNR, CBDRM), Market Development (LVCD), Alternative livelihood (TVET, SYIB, BF)
